Darkwing
Doubloon has strived for justice once again--only this time it
wasn't on the high seas. The new Darkwing Duck comic, which is being
released by Boom! Studios, recently finished the Crisis On Infinite
Darkwings arc. The basic plot is that Negaduck gathers together
alternative universe Darkwings to wreak havoc on Darkwing Prime's St.
Canard. One of the Darkwings that Negaduck captures and hypnotizes
is Darkwing Doubloon. Eventually, the spell wears off and Doubloon teams
up with the other Darkwings to help control the chaos unleashed in St. Canard.
There had been some speculation at "The Old Haunt" discussion board
about whether or not Darkwing Doubloon was a real alternative version
of Darkwing or if the original Darkwing just made him up. With his entry
in the comic, it can be assumed that Darkwing Doubloon really exists in
his own dimension in the Darkwing universe.
